Silver Palace has a third test before launch, and this one is different from the first two. Dichotomy: Retrace is a technical test: it is there to measure how the game runs, especially on phones, rather than to show new content.

The key facts

  • Platforms: PC, iOS and Android. It is the first test open to mobile players.
  • Content: largely the same as the Dichotomy beta from the summer, so expect the same roster and areas.
  • Recruitment: closed on October 10, 2026.
  • Dates: not announced when we last checked. We will add them to the test page as soon as they are published.

Why a technical test?

The Dichotomy beta was PC only, and it was big: about 34 GB, a 15-character roster and more than 40 hours of content. Bringing that to mobile is a separate challenge. A test focused on performance lets the team check frame rates, loading and device support before the December 14 launch.

Will progress carry over?

The earlier tests wiped all progress, and nothing suggests Retrace will be different, but Elementa has not said so. Treat it as a preview, not a head start.

What it means for launch

If you were not selected, you are not missing new story. The more useful takeaway is that mobile performance is being tested in public before release, which is good news for anyone planning to play on a phone or tablet.
