Overview
The Detective is the character you play. Cool-headed and methodical, they read people and crime scenes with unusual precision, and that talent is the engine of the whole story.
Versions
- Muninn · The Raven's Claws. The female version of the Detective, available since the first beta.
- Huginn · The Raven's Beak. The male version of the Detective, first playable in the Dichotomy Beta Test.
Story & personality
Three years after a catastrophe drove them out of Silvernia, the Detective comes home to dig into the death of someone close to them. The city they find looks peaceful on the surface, but its courts are weak and its nobility keeps its own secrets, which makes it fertile ground for anyone who hunts for the truth.
You choose one of two siblings at the start: Muninn or Huginn. The names come from Odin's ravens in Norse myth, and raven imagery runs through the protagonist's design.
